Christmas Eve

Wednesday, December 24, 2008

Our dinner guests have just left, a pile of dishes is calling me, but i had to stop and take a moment to reflect on this great evening and season, i am so thankful for all of my many blessings, friends, family, health, and most of all the birth of our Savior. we decorated cookies then santa came to visit, and gave out jammies we were pretty excited all except for ty who liked to say hi from a distance. after all of the commotion died down and santa left to get on with his journey we sat around the fire and talked about the night of the Savior's birth, we read a condensed version of the story and then same a few songs. As we were singing silent night such a warm peaceful feeling entered the room, it was wonderful for everyone to feel such warmth at such a special time of the year.

i know you're jealous when you see this pile of dishes!

taylor couldn't decide what to tell santa she finally wanted

i know it is probably obvious but i would have never thought to put the stockings on the gingerbread man's feet, i love the way kids think.
