Halloween at the Graham house was especially fun this year since Mimi and Grandpa came to join us from Canada. Mimi brought a doll making kit which kept the girls busy in the morning, of course we had to take advantage of the great weather and get in some outside play time. Next on the agenda: carving pumpkins - followed by Chris and his parents making gourmet sausages while I entertained the kids outside, on the tramp and play set. Then after much anticipation we downed pizza and got our into our costumes, a tiger, supergirl and a dinosaur, who also wanted to be included in the face paint and insisted on a black eye, how do you explain to a two year old that a black eye doesn't really go with a dinosaur? We pick the battles at our house.
