This family - I can't even.....I haven't shot at their home since Lauren was a newborn, we have done different locations since then. But when Mom told me they had baby lambs, goats and a calf this summer and they just started bee keeping. I mean really does it get any better? A gorgeous summer, golden evening with baby animals running around and a family laughing and cuddling, kids excited to show me all around. It was pure magic. I love this family anyway, but shooting at someones home, in their personal space is really where you can get the true gist of them and it gives me warm fuzzies. Climbing trees, trying out the very first strawberry of the summer in their amazing garden it was fabulous. The garden is Mom's favorite place, its where she goes in the morning to have her coffee relax and drink in the fresh air, I have major garden envy, it is beautiful! My favorite images of all though are the ones showing the family connection. Dad wrestling and laughing with the boys, Mom's face when Lauren is in her arms, and then Mom and Dad together, that is what this is all about. It's why I love doing what I do. xoxo
