I love my JGP Street Team and their willingness to serve. I think its such an important part of our program, for us to be involved in the community and step outside of ourselves. It's so easy to just worry about your own little bubble, serving gives perspective. This is one of the favorite activities of the year, we were able to help with the Child Bridge Christmas party. They love interacting with the kiddos and are impacted, at the end we talked about one Mom that popped into a room when they were leaving and said that they had been talking about what they wanted for Christmas the night before. All that this little boy wanted was a toy Christmas tree, which is what he made during craft time that evening. He was so happy he got his Christmas wish.
