As some of you may already know my son has Hemophilia A a blood disorder that prevents bleeds from forming a clot, this is lifelong illness with no current cure.   The treatment to keep Ty at “normal”clotting levels is giving him an IV factor replacement drug 3 times a week.  Chris gives this to him before he leaves for work around 5:30 am.  Ty takes it like a champ, we are so excited for him since he is starting to learn how to self infuse and care for himself, pretty impressive for a 7 year old!  This wouldn’t be possible without our chapter Rocky Mountain Hemophilia.  This group serves families in Wyoming and Montana we hold education days and family camp once a year.  Here our families get together, bring in educators to teach the parents and youth how to deal with the many issues that arise with chronic illnesses and form relationships that help Ty get through tricky times, where he otherwise would have felt like the only kid in the world dealing with certain problems.  This chapter also has a patient assistance fund to help families that may be in need due to medical expenses.  It has made a huge difference in our lives.  We are holding our major fundraiser on Sept 6th at the zoo, it is our first year in Billings and we would love your support!  Please go to this link to donate and/or join our team Ty’s Crew, tell your friends – yell it from the rooftops the more people the better!  We will have a rock climbing wall, face painting, superheroes and free admission to the zoo with registration.  It will be a great family activity just a quick lap around the zoo visit the animals, and support a great cause.  Register and donate ASAP so you can get your very own Ty’s Crew 2 t-shirt.

Simply Family did a fantastic article on the walk and bleeding disorders – read it here on page 49.

Love this family!!!  I have gotten to know them over the last few years and they are so fun!  When mom suggested an extended family session at the Grandparents cabin along the creek I was all in.  I had no doubt it would be gorgeous, and it was the perfect place for the kids to run around and play.  I loved capturing the cousins having a blast, frolicking, catching critters in the creek and shooting their slingshots, it’s a kids paradise.  What a treasure!  They are an amazing family and so lucky to have each other!!!  Thanks for including me in a fun evening!! family001 family002 family003 family004

Colton was so fun to photograph!  I photographed his older sister a few years ago and met him briefly then, so I was looking forward to hanging with the fam for an afternoon.  I love working with guys, they think it will be awful then we get going, they realize its not torture, and end up having a great time.  It’s a total different ball game than girls, they like to move faster get their shots done, get to the location, know they look good and move on.  Colton nailed it.  He did a great job.  He is an awesome guy, he has a witty sense of humor and is a fantastic golfer.  Thanks for the fun afternoon!

Check out one of my beautiful on the inside and out Senior Models this year!  I love her!  I photographed her when she was a tween and couldn’t wait until she was a senior, she is one of the sweetest girls and so gorgeous!  She has such a great positive attitude and just brings happiness wherever she goes.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen her whithout a smile, (until she worked her serious shots 🙂 ) oh- and she’s brilliant to top it off.  She’s ready to take on the world – and wants to go to med school,  I have no doubt she will conquer any dream that she has.  She is a fabulous girl and I’m so happy she is representing JGP!!! xoxo

I have photographed for years and become friends with this family that lives in Billings so I was excited when she told me her sister was coming into town with her hubby and little girl and that they wanted to do an extended family session all together.  They always make me laugh and we have a great time so I had no doubt it would be a fun evening.  They didn’t dissapoint, they were hillarious, it’s so fun to watch them vibe off of each other.  The girls were so sweet with their little cousin, and the grandparents were in heaven having them all together.  It was a wonderful evening!  I’m so glad I got to meet everyone and get to know them!  What a fab fam!!

Madalyn is the cutest thing ever!!  – plus I love her for not complaining once – just smiling through getting eaten alive by mosquitos down by the water, she was such a trooper! She is so adorable, I loved her sense of style.  She is the cheer captain , so of course we had to get some fab pics of her in uniform as well as her fabulous car that she had saved up for.  She worked the camera and was so fun to photograph I loved spending the evening with her and getting to know her!  what a great girl!!

This fab fam wanted to be sure and capture one of the gorgeous parts of Billings in their family pics before they moved across the country.  Mom told me they had pics in the dessert with the cacti in Arizona before they moved to Montana, they lived next to the rims, loved them and thought that would be the perfect location.  These are super kiddos, they were so fun and nice!  Everyone got along so well, they were a dream to photograph, the girls wanted to throw in their Montana shirts at the end for a few shots, it was perfect.  My only regret is that I didn’t meet and get to know this family better before they moved, they are great!

is she not the sweetest little thing? She is so funny, she has two older twin sisters that I’m sure keep her on her toes.  I photographed her as a newborn and at six months and have loved  seeing her personality emerge.  She is chill but hysterical, she loves to smile and it is contagious, she is curious and happy.  I can’t believe she is already one!  No doubt she is going to be a fabulous little girl, she has brought and will continue to bring so much joy to her lucky family! Happy Brithday Scarlett! xoxo

We had such an amazing time shooting Kaydee’s senior pictures up in the gorgeous Pryor Mountains amongst the wildflowers and the fabulous wild horses. It was her dream to do her senior shoot in the majestic area. She’s such a sweet girl and an unbelievably talented artist. It was great getting to know her and her family, she is so lucky to have such wonderful family.
