A Fairy tale Wedding!
This wedding day was a complete fairy tale, you wouldn’t expect anything less from a Miss Montana. College sweethearts, a star quarterback and cheerleader, wed on the bride’s parents anniversary, it was incredibly romantic. The look was soft and elegant. Jim Gainan told me it would be an amazing event but I was blown away when I saw The Depot transformed into exactly what Annie had envisioned. Gainans did an incredible job, chandeliers were hung, unique details throughout the day made it so special and distinctive. Couture gowns and amazing decorations were stunning but the thing that was the most fantastic above all of the glamour was the love that surrounded and flowed from the bride and groom. They had waited for this day for so long and were able to really enjoy and take it in with their family and friends. The wedding party was a blast, everyone involved was gracious and kind and able to focus on the most important item of the day -the love shared and commitment made between these two amazing people. Congrats Annie and Casey and thank you for letting me be a part of your amazing day.
Thank you Carol for your help that day! I couldn’t have done it without you!
WoW – Will James World of Work Program
I love working with people in the community, it gives you a sense of connectedness and community pride that I don’t think can be achieved any other way. When John, one of the amazing teachers involved with the World of Work program, approached me about a mentorship I was honored. When I initially went to the school to check out their program I was blown away! Chris and John have built a fabulous program that is intensely gratifying for the kids, I saw a true sense of accomplishment on those 8th grade faces when they told me about the different projects they were working on. They have taught them not only technical skills but life lessons as well. The student’s faces lit up when they explained to me that they have learned how to work hard and take pride in their work, how to be part of a team when they realized others were counting on them. After seeing their fantastic program, John and I brainstormed, we wanted to do something extra as well, create a partnership, I wanted to involve their program in my local business, a way of offering my clients a distinctive way to invest in the youth and give back to the community, so we came up with an exclusive boutique item. Chris and John have professional experience that has allowed them to teach the students how to make a quality art product, along with their state of the art equipment, they are hand making and creating canvases in a custom barn wood frame. They do a fabulous job, my clients have been thrilled with their art pieces. Proceeds from these sales go back into the WoW program. I had to share the article that was in Simply Family Magazine last month just in case you didn’t catch it, you can see it here! Take a minute and read all about the awesome WoW endeavors, our schools have some fabulous things going on, we can be proud!
Tea time – One of my favorite summer shoots!
I couldn’t leave this one out, it’s one of my very favorite summer shoots. I have worked with this fabulous family since Addison a.k.a. Peanut was a baby. I was so excited as we talked about her wonderful idea. Her creative mom and artistic aunt put this amazing set together. Addison was the princess for the morning at her very own tea party. Of course Pig was a guest of honor with her own crown, Pig has been at the majority of Addison’s shoots since she was a babe. (oh did I mention how much I love the daddy/daughter shot ?) We then trucked it to another location where she showed me another side of her vivacious personality. As soon as she put her cowboy boots on she couldn’t stop dancing for me and bowing with a wave of her hat. Thanks Peanut it is a joy watching you grow into a fun, happy little girl!
Casey + Annie
I was thrilled when Annie and Casey asked me to photograph their wedding and engagement. I was really excited after I met with Annie and her mom early on and we went over all of her ideas, she wanted to make it unique to them and their shared interests. They love to cook together and everything romantic vintage, after brainstorming we came up with a few different looks that we wanted to achieve. I was so impressed with them, Annie was lovely, just as beautiful on the inside as out. When she started to tell me about their fairytale relationship and a little about themselves I knew it would be amazing. Annie is a past Miss. Montana, they met while he was the quarterback and she was a cheerleader at Rocky. We had planned on doing their engagement pics early in the spring but then Annie made the NFL Houston Texans cheerleading team so her schedule got crazy. Casey was finishing up his Masters in Wyoming so finding a time when both of them could get to Billings was nearly impossible. Annie really wanted to work together before the big day and be sure to have fab pictures of them as a couple before they were husband and wife so we decided to shoot a few days before the big event. We had a great time and they were both excited and confident about pictures for the wedding. I love these!!! After shooting their engagement pics I couldn’t wait for their wedding! Wait until you see how those turned out! GORGEOUS!
Little Miss Lannon
Brand new babes, another one of my favorites to photograph! One of the awesome parts of my “job” – holding and cuddling, rocking them into a sound posable sleep. bonus: I get my baby fix, ooey gooeyiness for a few hours then I get to go home and get a good nights sleep, it’s perfect! Thank you for letting me capture gorgeous Lannon and your family at this amazing time!
Happy Halloween from the Grahams!
Makelle
LoVe this talented girl! I have known her for many years and am super close to her amazing family, we’ve vacationed together, spent many late nights at their house and really had a great time. I can’t believe Makelle is a senior, this sounds like a mushy mom post, but these girls are growing up way too fast, I’ve loved watching her evolve into a fabulous young lady! I can’t believe she’ll be at college next year! I’m excited to see her spread her wings. Love you Kelle!
