First comes love… I realized that I hadn’t posted their engagement shots – and I couldn’t keep those from you.  So here you are engagements with the big day following.  I first met Heidi while she was helping at her friends wedding a few years ago, we hit it off immediately, she was on the ball and the biggest help keeping all of the behind the scenes details running smoothly, when she called me about capturing her own wedding day, I was thrilled!  Thanks guys for letting me capture the start of your amazing new life together!  Congrats!!!

This gorgeous dancer has some of the most beautiful lines I have ever seen, usually when I shoot a dancer we do quite a few jumps to get the lines they are looking for, completely understandable since they aren’t even close to being warmed up when I ask them to leap, but Lauren nailed it right away.  Lauren was quiet and kind but up for anything, thanks Lauren for choosing me to capture this awesome time in your life, enjoy your senior year!!

It’s that time of year!!!!

I looked out my window and what did I see?  Check out the leaves in my neighbors yard!  Can you believe fall is here?  The leaves are just starting to change, and fall is really starting to swing down by the river.  I took some “fall” shots of a senior by the river yesterday and was amazed at the colors that we found so early in the season.  It is time to book your fall sessions!!!  We have limited space available so please call the studio at 671.4371 asap to get on the schedule.   I can’t wait to see you!!!!

Fun on the Farm

This vivacious family wanted their session to take place on the farm since that such a huge a part of their life.  They are super involved in 4H, in fact we took pics of Holden with just a few of his numerous champion ribbons and belt buckles, I got a kick out of showing my kids his pig at the fair this year!  This is such a fun family, they kept me laughing the whole time, mom is a riot!  Thanks guys for a great afternoon!

I was so excited to photograph Kelsie, I have known her for many years and had no doubt she would be fabulous to shoot.  When she showed up with her amazing wardrobe and accessories I knew it would be off the charts.  I showed a sneak peek on Facebook and have had requests for an update on how she worked what you saw on the rack.  So here you go….she was wonderful!!!!

Carly + Brian

Want to see some pics from their amazing wedding in gorgeous Red Lodge?  Here you go my friends –

I have had the most lovey dovey couples this summer!  I mean really oozing love and passion, completely enamored brides and grooms that like to laugh and have a good time!  It has been so much fun to photograph the big day for them.  Brian and Carly were so obviously smitten, good vibes were contagious that day, everyone that participated had a blast.

Mom passed down a handkerchief that grandma gave her on her wedding day, but oh it didn’t stop there, the tears flowed when Carly received her gift from Brian- years worth of all of their love notes to each other since the beginning of their relationship, the sweetest most romantic wedding day gift I have ever seen.

This was such a touching ceremony started off by a beautiful song and Carly’s future sister in law’s amazing voice.

I may have heard the most emotional, wonderful toasts ever at this wedding.  And do they know how to party?  I have never seen such excitement and love over the song “sweet Caroline”, the gorgeous bride took in every moment. Wow – when you have grandma and great grandma busting a move on the packed dance floor and shoes left on the table, you know it’s a good night!  Congrats!!!! Thanks for having me at your party!!!

Baby Bella

I love watching my clients (now friends) families grow.  It seems like just yesterday (seen here and here) we were taking A.C.’s baby pics and now he is a big brother!  (Isn’t this one of the most adorable sib pics ever?!?) Bella is one of the cutest,  I couldn’t believe how alert she was for such a little thing, completely focused and in the know.  I am so excited to watch these kids grow into little people with their own unique personalities.  I hope one of them has mom’s hilarious sense of humor and zest for life, she keeps me laughing constantly.  Congrats on your new addition!  xoxoxo

LOVE this bride and groom!  They are probably some of the nicest, most kind people I have ever met.  You might remember them from their engagement pics seen here, I have been eagerly anticipating their wedding, their loving vibe is contagious and evident to anyone that is with them.. They are so enamored with each other and are always making sure the other is comfortable and happy,  I have no doubt they will have a fabulous life together.

Their wedding was in beautiful Red Lodge at their family’s cabin on Rock creek.  It was a beautiful setting, the attention to detail was fabulous and they made it through the crazy downpour and torrential wind that blew through a couple of hours before the ceremony.  They were rock stars!  The details were fab, they wanted to include important items from each side, so she had a cameo and rings from her grandparents tied to her bouquet and the groom’s grandfather gave her a gold coin that has been passed down from generations and worn in the shoe of each bride on their wedding day.   The majority of their guests came from back east and they wanted them to have the Montana experience, they even included cardboard cutouts of a couple of important people in their lives that weren’t able to attend including his brother that is serving overseas.  His brother was his honorary best man and sent a toast speech that his sister read.  Talk about a tear jerker. It was an amazing day filled with love.  Thanks for letting me be a part of it!!
