this was such a fun engagement shoot, despite the FREEZING temps, Brittney and Michael were fabulous to work with. they had a great energy and “worked it” for me, a photographers dream. i can’t wait to shoot their wedding on June 13th. i always love when i have a chance to work with the couple before the big day, now it will be a breeze and they will get even more amazing pics since we have had a chance to get to know each other. congrats!!! you guys are hot!!!

Maggie Jo is one! Amy had booked a couple of months early to make sure that i could photograph her on her actual birthday and then they were struck down with the dreaded stomach flu, i felt so bad, nevertheless we had a great time a week later. i have photographed maggie jo a couple of times before so it is always fun to see my little friend’s smiling face.

can you believe it? i am so excited to unveil my new logo and site. that’s right i’m kicking it up a notch. this has been a long process, helped along by a fabulous graphic designer Jody Hayes and computer whiz friends Kim and Sean. let me know what you think…

as for this gorgeous little babe. she is the newest Richards girl, so tiny and adorable. i photographed her a few weeks ago and was waiting for the new site to show you in all of her glory with the new and improved bigger images.

if you were wondering, when i imported the posts from my old site it kept them in their original size so you’ll have to keep checking to see the new large and in charge entries.

yesterday it was FREEZING – the high was 18 degrees with 4 inches of snow on the ground and taylor came bounding in from school and told me about her day,” this is the best day ever, i got a cupcake and a peacock feather at school, i get to have a friend over AND now i found a seed in my cantaloupe snack” how nice to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, i think i’m going to try and find a seed in my cantaloupe this morning.

i was so excited to photograph the much anticipated Tilly. i love these pics, the adorable siblings gazing at Tilly lovingly, and of course we had to get individuals of the superhero Liam and fantastic big sis Molly.

i love taking pictures of good friends families, i had the pleasure of photographing kim’s immediate family while they were in town for her grandmother’s 90 birthday celebration. i had heard stories about everyone so it was so good to finally put faces with names. they had such a fun vibe, her brothers were hilarious. thanks guys for trekking around the mountain to find good light, it was worth it – you look fab!

i photographed these little guys when they were first born then as a family and now for their three month shoot. i’m so excited to photograph them as they grow, they are adorable. their mom is a fab hairdresser too.

Thomas is one! he is such a happy little guy, apparently pajama time is his favorite book, mom wasn’t ready for pics but i managed to sneek her in while reading. reading to my babes when they were this age are some of my favorite times, they sit in your lap and just laugh and coo. happy birthday!

hailey turned four last week, even though some days i would swear she is 15, we are so lucky that this little miss is a part of our family.
with barbies in tow, we started the day off going to the bakery, in between dropping taylor off at school and gymnastics. she could pick anything she wanted out of the divine case and decided on a pretty donut with pink sprinkles, so girly.
hailey requested a pj themed party, quite appropriate since she lives in them, as soon as we get home from anywhere, no matter the time of day she goes downstairs and gets her pjs on as fast as she can and takes her hair out, she loves to be comfy, who can blame her? her little friends were excited to wear pjs, make octopus’s out of gloves, snowmen stick treats and what 4 year old party would be complete without a freeze dance game.

this is flora fink, she has graced the pages of this blog before, hailey’s dear friend she adores, she loves to play with her, and i love listening to their interactions, they are hilarious together.
