It was so chilly – but with tricks of the trade and awesome Moms and Dads we did it – and they nailed this session with all of their extended family on a winter morning in Montana. Grandma was so excited about all of her kiddos and their babies that would be at their home over the holidays. They came from all over the country, even Hawaii, to be together. It was so fun to watch all of the little guys, I walked in at one point to grab another fam and they were having a toddler, family dance party, it was the cutest thing. Even though it was freezing they were troopers we caught glimpses of laughing and smiling and cuddling so it’s perfection in my book. It was the best when later that afternoon the girls came to the studio to see all of the images, they got away when the kiddos were napping, they we so excited to see pics of all of them together, and ooh and aww over each others babies. It was fantastic! What a wonderful family!! xoxo

I love this family – I have known them since they were babies, now I’m feeling old. I have loved watching them grow up and I adore Mom. She helps us out at the studio in the summer and fall, when we are about to lose it she comes in and saves the day, and makes everything good so it doesn’t turn into crazy town there. She’s the best! They are such an adorable and talented family on top of it, it doesn’t get much better! xoxo

My Senior Models are the best! I truly do get to work with the most amazing people! I called and told them I wanted to get together over the holidays for a fun little winter shoot and they were all in, they are always up for anything and are so fun. It was a crazy snow day – we were seriously in a snow globe, it was gorgeous but freezing! We took some fun shots, had hot chocolate to stay warm and you can’t play in the snow without a snow fight right?!? This is such a great group of girls! Love them!!

This fun family just moved to Montana and I couldn’t of been more happy to meet them! I had a blast getting to know them and their kiddos were so much fun. They loved running around and playing. No doubt they will have a great time raising their kids in this amazing place just like we have. Montana is the best! xoxo

I can’t even believe that this sweet girl is one! I’ve been photographing her since the day she arrived, it goes so fast! Her and her big sister are the sweetest, I feel like one of the family now, getting to be with them at all of these amazing milestones. Bella is so chill and easy and her perfect little face and big brown eyes makes me miss this age! Thank you for letting me share her first year with you, I have cherished every minute of it. xoxo

I had so much fun with the family! I can’t believe how big this little guy has gotten in the last year! I hadn’t seen him since his first birthday and now he is starting to talk and run around -it’s crazy what a difference a year makes!! He is so adorable – even though the chilly Red Lodge snow wasn’t his favorite – Mom and Dad worked it for me and we got some great shots. I love that one of her favorite shots was the one where he is mad and crying those real life pics are the ones that you treasure years later. We have little warm up tricks and take lots of warm up breaks to keep everyone as happy as possible and his big sister was a complete rockstar! She was all in! She was ready to do whatever I asked and was smiling and laughing the entire time, such a trooper. We even threw a snowball fight in at the end for extra fun. They were amazing, and it was so great to see my clients turned friends again. Really can you get much cuter than these faces?!? xoxo

There is something about a gorgeous family – especially all dressed up for the holidays! You might recognize these guys – they were on the cover of Simply Family Magazine after a gorgeous family shoot (seen here). Mom decided she wanted a holiday session as well, she said, “they are just all growing up too fast, especially baby June, who just turned one, and I love pictures.” These guys are adorable and so hilarious. Especially the little ones, they are full of personality and so funny! The pics with Mom and Dad with the boys and girls melt me. So sweet!! Love you guys!! xoxo

It was our first snow fall of the season and these first time parents braved the roads to travel to Billings. The snow had just stopped and it was like a magical fairy land, really. It was so quiet and peaceful and watching these two take in the reality of their soon to be baby arriving in a few weeks, they were so excited! I loved that she brought little books that they will be reading and how they glowed when they talked about the baby. Time goes so fast, I know you two are going to be amazing parents, enjoy every second of it!xoxo

I was so thrilled to see this little guy! I’m watching him grow up and I’m like a proud mama. I met him when he was just a little newborn we did babies first year so I got to see each milestone and now he is a cute little toddler. He is just the sweetest guy with those piercing blue eyes, no doubt he will be a knock out. I’m in love, he has me wrapped around his finger. His mom and dad are so sweet too!! He’s just the best! xoxo
