Hard to believe it was so warm only a couple of weeks ago!  We had such a good time exploring their backyard, they showed me all of their favorite spots; trees, dinosaur tracks, caves, building rock towers with mom, it was quite the adventure.   I loved it!  And are these not some of the most gorgeous children ever?  How lucky are we to raise children in such amazing country?!?  Gotta love Montana!!!

This little guy is soooo cute!!  He is all geared up and ready for his first Christmas.  I can’t believe he is 6 months already!  It seems like yesterday we were doing his newborn pics.  (see here)  Check out those baby blues and his little smile – adorable!!!

Can you believe these warm sun kissed pics were shot just over a week ago!  Hard to imagine we were loving basking in 50 degree warmth and enjoying being outside.  It was wonderful!!!  I really look forward to seeing this family every year, it’s amazing how fast the girls are growing up and becoming so beautiful.  We had a great afternoon!

It’s so fun when our past seniors come back. Gorgeous Shelby needed some head shots for auditions and we were happy to oblige.  I loved working with her a few years ago and she is still just as beautiful as ever!

I can never believe how fast one year flies by when I do the “baby first year” plans.  I get so attached to these little guys and they grow up way too fast!  He is the most adorable little man.  We had done his newborn and 6 month sessions inside the studio and thought it might be fun to mix it up and do his one year outside, we were so lucky that we were able to take advantage of the fabulous warm fall weather right before the big snow dump!  Is he not the most precious thing ever?!?  Such a cutie!

Seems strange to be finishing up with the fab Class of 2014 seniors, the yearbook deadlines for the Billings area schools are so early, we shoot the majority of them in the summer and early fall, so Blake was one of the final guys.  I’m glad I had a chance to work with him. He was a great guy!

All out Christmas!!!  They don’t mess around when it comes to Christmas – they are all in.  I love going to their home – you can’t help but get into the Christmas spirit immediately.  You should see their front yard – incredible!  The little guys are so excited and adorable it adds to the festive atmosphere.  It’s so much fun!  Love them!

Love this family!  Not gonna lie –  they have me laughing the entire time I am shooting.  We’ve gotten to know each other really well and have become good friends over the last few years, since I first started working with them.  Can you believe how cute this little Santa is?  – (little secret – I showed up in my footie jammies for the shoot, you should have seen Cindy’s face when she answered the door – priceless)

I took pics of this family when the youngest was born and since then their only family pics have been on top of the ski mountain,  so I was thrilled when mom decided for her gift this year it was time to get some lovey dovey, playful shots.  We had a blast with crazy socks, had to show their love of soda (apparently they are regulars at the gas station) and it came through naturally that they love to have fun together, mess around and really what a close knit group this bunch is.  (so the shot of the little boy kissing his mom just happened when he was standing there, he gave her a unexpected quick little surprise kiss, which in turn gave me the most gorgeous, genuine happy mama smile ever, love it!)

I had a great time photographing this family, they were so fun to work with.  The hunting shot we did at the very end may be my favorite,  I love the personality,  the stance and look on the little girl’s face is priceless!  I asked them to grab hunting gear and run over and get together, this is what she did.  Love it!  She loves hunting time spent with her dad, as well as her dog that has grown up with her since she was a babe.  I got to know this fam a little bit on the soccer sidelines this past season when our daughters played on the same team and Dad helped coach.  Good times!  Thanks for spending time with me on a gorgeous fall afternoon!
