Three and waiting
I promised more pics of my favorite superhero (take a peek), and here he is with his loving family and coming soon, new baby brother or sister. I do mini maternity sessions as part of a baby package, they are fabulous for short and sweet shots but when you really want to capture the family as they are before the new addition, a full session is the way to go. This little man just turned three so we wanted to be sure and get some great shots of him as well before the focus was on the new baby. He was so much fun – as you can tell by his flying Buzz shot. He is beyond excited for the baby and will be a super duper big brother. This is a lucky little babe that will be making an appearance very shortly. I can’t wait meet the new bundle, if he/she is anywhere near as cute as their older brother, we’re in trouble!
lullabies
This lucky little babe was born into a wonderful family. Miss Becky, one of my girls favorite Musikgarten teachers is the proud mama. I imagine his life will be full of sweet lullabies and love. Becky is one of most genuinely kind people I know, (I also met dad for the first time and he is equally as wonderful). Congrats!
a couple of my gorgeous senior reps
These gorgeous girls are representing Jana Graham Photography for the Class of 2013. Talk to them about the experience and be sure to have them give you a card! They came in to the studio for a mini to see what it was all about, they had their makeup done by our fabulous makeup artist Ashley and then modeled for some amazing shots. Introducing Alecia from Skyview and Callen from Laurel.
Senior Graduation Announcements!!
This is so exciting and its becoming more and more popular. I wish I would have these when I graduated! Seniors are using them for everything and loving them- grad dates, grad parties, and senior recitals. They get fabulous responses from everyone they send them to. I wanted to show you what we have been ordering for our seniors this year, they are different than the standard and really set you apart from all of the other high school grad announcements out there. They are 5×7 press printed front and back. It’s not too late to order for the class of 2012, just contact me asap! Just a glimpse for the seniors of 2013, this is some of what Jana Graham Photography has to offer you!
Spring Minis!!!
It’s that time of year – After going through the wait list, I have a few spots left for spring minis and thought I would put it on the blog, they are up for grabs, first come, first serve- please call Shawna at 671.4371 to reserve a spot. They will be held at Dan Walt gardens. I shot there for the magazine yesterday and it was gorgeous, spring is definitely in bloom! Minis are short and sweet – 15 minute sessions, an online gallery will be posted with your images and you may choose 1-8×10 and 2-5x7s for $295. You may also purchase additional items a la carte.
I can’t post without a picture – so here you go – Buzz in flight. I showed this family their images yesterday and this was one of our favs, so I thought I would share. I love the expression on his face, he is all in, ready to take life on. More to come on this great fam…..
Gorgeous baby girl
Can you believe how beautiful this baby is? She was perfect during the shoot, until she pooped on her loving dad’s arm, I didn’t want to say anything to mom about how wonderful she was until after the shoot so that I didn’t jinx our amazing stretch of this- is-the-most-perfect-baby-in-the-world. She had a rough go at the beginning, mom received scary news while she was pregnant and it was recommended that she deliver in Denver, after the birth she was there for two more weeks in the NICU. As soon as she got home we did her session, she is a gorgeous miracle. I saw her today when she picked up her order, she is doing fabulously and is as perfect as ever. Congrats on your precious daughter!
how could I have missed…
blogging this family? I have been in bed for almost a week with a bad back. I threw it out, I have no idea how, I wish I could say I rescued a granny from a grizzly or something heroic, but no – I must just be getting old. I usually just push through everything, but it wasn’t an option here. I had to reschedule shoots and meetings which killed me, I don’t know if I have ever done that before. But what can you do when you can hardly walk? After a long week of nursing with lots of ice and some meds, I am ready to go. I was looking through my files today making sure everything was in order and realized that I missed introducing you to this adorable family! We started with the intention of only taking pics of the kids and then decided to throw mom in some shots, I am so glad we did, snuggly shots are my favorite. This first one melts my heart, doesn’t he just have a look of pure peaceful joy on his little face? He is totally at home “nuggling” (as it’s called at our house) with his mama. I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting dad until the ordering meeting and I can tell you these must some of the luckiest kids around! Mom and Dad are warm, friendly, patient and kind, let’s see what other words are synonyms for fabulous? It makes sense that they both work in Pediatrics. We are lucky to have them here in Billings. Thanks guys!
New York, New York
I LOVED shooting at Times Square, the energy was palpable and then throw in an adorable little girl – it was magic! I have photographed this cutie for the last few years when she comes to Montana to visit her family, we decided it was time to photograph her on her home turf. I knew it would be a good session when she ran towards me beaming and threw her arms around me and gave the biggest hug ever. We of course had to take in the local vibe and don the statue of liberty crown, eat a hotdog, and show the yellow taxis.
Thank you for your service!
It was an honor to photograph this adorable little guy and his gorgeous parents. He didn’t want to miss time hanging out with his dad so decided to come SUPER early, (8 weeks). His dad is now training in Helena and then leaves for one year to serve overseas. It puts into perspective what military families sacrifice so that their husbands and fathers can go serve our country and we can maintain and enjoy our safety and freedoms. We will be praying for your safe return, thank you so much for all that you do!
Brrrrrrr…..
This family worked it on a blustery cold Montana day. It was FREEZING and you wouldn’t even know, they were total troopers, they warmed up in the car and would come out with big smiles on their faces ready to go. They were so kind and fun, (a great combo). I love the one of mom and dad, her eyes closed with pure joy on her face, love it! Thanks guys, it was wonderful to work with you!!
