I love this baby!  Her picture from this fall is actually one of the images on the wall in my studio, her smile is contagious.  She is so adorable!!  Mom wanted some pics of her now that she is sitting up all on her own, so we decided to go super girly and have some fun!  Kate had great shots with mom as well but there is something about adoring daddy, little girl shots that makes my heart melt.

Engagement sessions are so fun! Working with and getting to know the couple is imperative before the big day, it gives me a chance to see how they are together, what their relationship is like, how we vibe; more importantly, they get the chance to feel amazing, and confident in front of the camera so on the wedding day there is zero hesitation, just pure love coming through to the lens.  These lovebirds were oozing warmth and kindness.  They love music, and the outdoors; hiking, backpacking and adoring their new pup (I can’t get over how adorable his scarf is!) I have a feeling the Red Lodge wedding this summer by the creek is going to be gorgeous!  I have to mention – I am completely jealous of her flowing mermaid hair! Isn’t it fabulous?!?

I LOVE this family – I feel like I say that pretty regularly, but clients end up becoming friends and this family is exceptional!  I photographed their fabulous wedding (see it here) and we just recently did some maternity shots (seen here).  They are gorgeous inside and out!  This is such a lucky little boy to come to this family, they are so sweet and loving and this kiddos are their number one priority.

While I was photographing this fun session I couldn’t get the “Come Fly with Me” Sinatra song out of my head.  I knew from our pre-consult discussions about the concept and wardrobe that this would be a special shoot, but it was amazing to see it come together!  They did a fantastic job stylizing the shoot–everyone had a character and look that they were working. The whole family looked extraordinary! They easily could have been whisked off of a movie set.  This family has gone through so much in the last few years, I wanted to knock it out of the park for them. They made it easy. Lindsey was also one of the great team of people who helped make my dream of opening a one-of-a-kind natural light studio a reality. I began with a concept, and she managed to find just the right pieces to decorate all the right places–and the end result is like this family–fabulous!!

You might remember these little guys from their golf shoot (see it here), it was one of my all time favorites.  I have been photographing them since they were babes, I love watching their personalities emerge, they are hilarious!  This particular day was freezing and windy as all get out, I don’t know how we pulled it off, but they worked it and got some great shots, they are tough little cowboys!  FYI – their mom is a fabulous hair goddess!  Misti has been working her magic on me for the last few years, love her!!!

This was one of my favorite holiday shots this season.  Check out these gorgeous kids adoring their little brother.  They are such a fantastic family, I’m so happy for them, Sean Phillip is a wonderful new addition!

I loved photographing these kiddos and families during the last of my fall minis.  Some old friends, some new – they were all fabulous to work with and left with great pics for their custom Christmas cards!  Thanks guys for a fun afternoon!

Kayla is a gorgeous girl.  I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful young lady the last few years, I love her sense of style.  She is a kind, happy, generous soul, I am lucky to know her.

This little gal might look familiar – her adorable face helped announce and “shout from the rooftops” my studio opening.   Here is her adorable family – they are sooooo nice.  You may know we have lived in many different parts of the country, and we have wonderful friends from every area, but I always say that Montana has the nicest, most genuine people, good salt of the earth folks. I have the pleasure of getting to know your families and capturing your interactions and relationships, so I’m the lucky one that gets to see the vulnerable, real you and it is good.   This is a great example of one of those kind, fabulous Montana families.  So gracious and happy.  Thanks for letting me in.

When mom called me about senior pictures for her son, she had a special request, she had reached her goal after losing a significant amount of weight and had dreamt of a great pic with her son.  This was the perfect time,  we made sure to get a good one during his senior session.  I loved capturing the details of what makes Jake him, his Ford belt and his camera from his grandfather were among a few of the items that he brought so show his personality.  Thanks guys!  I hope you are enjoying your senior year!
