we did this shoot right before this little misses preschool graduation. we did the same thing with her big brother a couple of years ago.  i feel honored that these families include me in their lives and let me photograph and document their children growing up, it is so fun for me to have relationships with the kids, and see the excitement on their faces when they see me.  thanks for a fun evening!

I love how little girls this age turn their feet in when they aren’t sure exactly what to do, it is adorable!

I love when parents recognize that it is just as important to photograph their tweens as any other stage.  It seems like we go gaga over babies up until about age three then jump to senior pics in high school, what about all of the time in between?  Those years are just as crucial, full of firsts, growing and evolving into amazing people. These girls were great, we had a blast picking out their outfits, they were so easy to work with and a lot of fun.  I loved watching them interact and show me some sisterly love.

This baby boy was so handsome, and the mom, come on, really its just not fair, she was glowing!!!  This session was fabulous, we have had the craziest weather lately so I was jumping up and down at the fact that we could go outside and take advantage of the gorgeous scenery.  Mom, Dad, the whole family were fantastic to work with, I left feeling like I had just had a great afternoon with an old girlfriend.  Thanks for trusting me with this special time in your lives.

i had to share some pics from the fabulous mini sessions on Sat. (more to come tomorrow) have I mentioned lately how in LOVE i am with my clients?  many of whom have become friends.  Saturday was gorgeous and the weather was fantastic.

These girls are fantastic, amazing and every other glorious adjective you can think of! They have been best friends since preschool even though Lexi goes to West and Brooke to Central!  We had a blast on their shoot.  I am so excited they are my senior reps this year they are awesome!

People often ask me about the Simply Family Magazine covers, thought I would share about this one.  I met Payton a couple of years ago while shooting his family, I thought he was adorable, he was easy to work with and his parents so nice.  I knew I wanted to use him for a cover since he was the cutest ever and so well behaved, when Jenny the editor told me what age range she wanted for this particular cover he immediately came to mind.  I was so excited to be able to work with him again, so well behaved fantastic kids that I photograph you are on my  mag cover radar!

Christian goes to West and was great to work with.  I love my reps for 2011!!! He is a fab dj, when I learned about his mad skills I immediately had a vision of what I wanted to do to showcase his passion!  Thanks Christian I know you will be a amazing rep!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of those super moms out there.  Ty is my little 3 year old super hero, he constantly has his super “t” cape on or his well loved incredibles costume that is very well loved.  You may have seen him flying through costco or target saving the world from bad guys.  I am so lucky to be this little man’s mom he makes me smile and laugh everyday!  I love you Ty.
