Balkenbush Kids
I’m having a few moments of peace and quiet, Chris took the girls to run a few errands, Ty is sleeping and I am trying to catch up on a pile of editing, and watching the snow continue to accumulate on top of the already 8 inches. I’m enjoying some good tunes drinking a steamy mug of honey vanilla herbal tea and being so thankful that I have a warm house right now. But wow – realization how quickly times flies….. I was going through my shoots from the last month and noticed that I hadn’t posted pictures from the Balkenbush shoot. This was shot almost exactly one month ago and look at Zella so warm and sunny in her sundress, today I sent my kids out in the full snow getup. I’m glad we took advantage of the gorgeous fall days that went by way too fast!
the Graham clan
i decided i should photograph my own kiddos in the fabulous fall splendor, since i have been working with everyone else and capturing their families. i am really making an effort to not have the cobbler syndrome, and take pics of my own guys. they are at such a fun, energetic age and it is going so fast, being so busy has made me realize this even more.
ok i have to brag that i do have the best husband, even if he has been out of town a lot lately, he is so present and fabulous, the kids adore him almost as much as i do.
this picture is so my hailey. spunky and hilarious.

ok for those who know me i am a total wuss. just looking at my kids right now makes me tear up. i feel so blessed and fortunate to have them, which is awesome considering hailey just had a major tantrum before a much needed nap. i just remind myself to try and really enjoy this time that will seem to go way too fast.

The Nifty Nelsons
i love the nelsons, jaime is one of my dearest friends, the kids are like my own, we are together all of the time so i really wanted to capture their personalities and do something a little bit different. mission accomplished.

i don’t know if i am biased because i know ty so well but this picture makes me laugh every time i see it. syd sporting the sassy pose while her parents are kissing in the back and ty trying to be funny.
The Fabulous Finks
How could I forget the fabulous Finks? My dear friend Amy asked me to come and take a few quick pictures of her adorable family, they were putting together an application letter for open adoption, amazing. Wouldn’t you love your little babe to be welcomed into a family like this? Best of luck!

It happened to be eric and amy’s 10 year anniversary, they were on their way out to dinner. Don’t they look fab?
