i loved this shoot of a family about to welcome a second child into their home. they were so great to work with, we had so many wonderful pictures of their family with their 5 year old little boy but i wanted to include these great pictures of her fabulous belly so we decided to leave it anonymous. she looks amazing!!! i would have wanted the world to know who i was if i looked like that. i can’t wait to photograph the beautiful baby when it comes. congrats!

i love this hailey, first of all she has the same wonderful name as my daughter and she is almost the exact same age. the adorable outfits are the best, i wish sally her mom was my stylist. the most endearing thing about this picture is the classic three year girl stance, spunky and full of life.

you can tell i have a thing for little turned in feet, something about that makes me melt and smile at the same time. i don’t know why kids do this but it is so innocent and cute.

tis’ the season for senior pictures. it’s so fun photographing these guys and seeing their personality emerge as the shoot goes on.

i am great friends with the Wing family so it was so fun to photograph their son Brent and his fiance Julie when they visited from Indiana.

i love the reflection of the tractor and sunset in the background.

you might recognize a couple of these cuties. i photographed them a few weeks before, then the fabulous grandma called to have a complete family photo taken while everyone was in town. this is my favorite of the cousins, the great smiles are due to grandma doing a funny dance behind me, thanks for the help Marilyn.

This is a quick little blog, i’ve got to pick up taylor from school but i didn’t want to forget to post spencer. i love this picture of the Laytons little boy, now that i have my own boy i see just how different boys and girls are right from get go, they automatically give you the superhero poses. i love it!!!

We decided it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t photograph James with his true love, this 71 Dodge Demon that he restored with his Dad and uncle. He won fifth place at a national mopar car show the week before this shoot. Congrats!

Darling Maggie Jo, how can you not fall in love with her sweet face?

Something about this picture gets me, I love the realxed, peaceful look on her face as she knows she is loved and secure in her moms arms.

This is Angela and her adorable kiddos. Angela was my high risk pregnancy nurse, I saw her at least once a week, more than some of my friends when I was on bed rest, and talked to her all of the time, she was so patient and kind. I constantly heard stories about the kids so I was delighted when she asked me to photograph her family. I know I didn’t post any of the dad, he is great but I had to choose a few.

First of all, Angela looks great in this picture, but it truly was amazing when I saw her little boy and her together, he is such a mini-me, they could be twins.

I had the pleasure of photographing Brynn and Ian Barriger, the kiddos of Jenny, one of the fabulous cofounders of Simply Family Magazine. They were so fun to work with, Brynn is quite the little model and Ian’s adorable smiley face with the sunflare, it doesn’t get much better than that. I love a shoot when we just have a great playdate.
