This adorable family will be gracing the cover of Simply Family Magazine in November.  Molly had been wanting to do a family session for quite awhile and her fantastic hubby gifted her for their anniversary.   They were such a great family, the boys were adorable, can you believe how cute this little guy is?  Check out the, “you want me to do what?”, look below.  I love it!

I am so far behind on blogging, (thank you to all of my clients waiting to see your sneak peeks)  I photographed Mason a few weeks ago, she came all the way from Wyoming on a blustery day.  Her parents were a big help on the shoot, her dad was quite the gentleman, carrying chairs and throwing dresses up in the wind.  Ashley the great, (thanks Ashley)  did her makeup under umbrellas in the storm, but Mason managed to pull it off and look fabulous.  She is so fun and energetic!

This foursome was full of fun.  We clicked right away, they had just moved from Southern Ca (my hometown) back to her roots in gorgeous Montana.   I love photographing families with young children and watching them interact, soon they forget that I’m around and just start being “them”, that’s when you catch special moments, experience all of the kiddos different facial expressions and capture them living and loving.  Thanks for letting me document this special time in your lives!

Johna and Trevor’s wedding was fabulous!  They came from Pennsylvania to be married in her home town.  It was touching to see all of the family and friends that made the long journey to support them on their special day.  I love this couple, Johna and I hit it off right away, I knew they would be rock stars on their wedding day when they braved the icy cold for their engagement shoot in January and didn’t complain once.  Peek at those shots here.  I fell in love with them throughout our correspondence during this past year.  They are wonderful, fun, vivacious people, I have no doubt they will have an amazing life together!  Congrats guys!!!

I really don’t think this beautiful girl has any idea how gorgeous she is.  She is stunning,  it is not just her outer beauty, but a light that shines from within that makes her glow.  She is a quiet, humble, kind soul.  Thank you Sarah for letting me in.

I love photographing this family!  I have had the pleasure of working with them many times before and they are always up for a good time, cracking jokes, laughing and loving.  We were trying to figure out where to do the session, mom wanted something playful, she mentioned in passing that it was dad’s dream for the girls to learn how to golf so that they could all play together.  Perfect!  We decided to shoot on the gorgeous greens and have a little fun while we were at it.  Thanks guys!!!!

Check out this sweet little cub.  I have a special place in my heart for high risk babies since all of mine were “high risk” and crazy pregnancies.  This babe and his mom have been through a lot and are such troopers, you really get to know new moms when you  spend so much time with them during the shoot, this brave mom amazed me as she shared her story, she didn’t complain at all about the last couple of months and had such a sense of calmness.  The whole fam drove for hours and hours to have this session, no pressure…. Thankfully mom and baby are doing well, and she looks amazing!!!!  Congrats again, you inspire me.

Where do all of these gorgeous seniors come from?   Lauren was great and up for anything, we incorporated her grandmother’s bracelet in this shot.  Thanks Lauren for a lovely evening.  Side note:  Fabulous Ashley did the make up for this shoot, I have worked with her on a wedding and she has started working with me on select shoots, she does an amazing job and is so fun!  Thanks Ashley!

Can you believe this incredible weather we’ve had?  This family totally took advantage of the sunny rays and came to play down by the river.  Thanks for a morning full of giggles!

Alex was an AMAZING girl!!!  She told me right before the shoot that she would be sporting a cast on her leg.  Of course, all of the negative thoughts went through my mind; great how am I going to get the shots that I want, she will be trashed and hobbling along at a snail’s pace, how can I keep her energy up, what about clothing changes?  She proved me wrong, right when she got out of the car I knew I had nothing to fear, I saw her gorgeous smile and fun, peppy, personality and knew at that instant that this shoot would rock!  Alex fell during a cheer stunt a few days before homecoming for Central, so sad, but she had the best attitude and was the fastest I have ever seen on crutches, she didn’t complain once.  She is such a great girl with a fantastic future ahead of her!
